Flightcell DZMx PlusA satellite and cellular hybrid aircraft tracking and communications solution.
The Flightcell DZMx Plus has been designed for the avionics bay of an aircraft and simplifies the replacement of legacy satellite equipment. Operators can now upgrade to the latest satellite and cellular hybrid technology, with minimal cost and minimal downtime.
The HawkEye ADT is the first aircraft device developed to provide airline operations centers (AOCs) full autonomous distress tracking (ADT) compliance with ICAO-GADSS.
The HawkEye ADT provides ICAO-GADSS compliant tracking and adds voice communication via Iridium satellite for reliable global reach, with dual modem redundancy for increased safety. The product includes global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receivers and a powerful attitude heading reference system (AHRS) processor for evaluating aircraft state.
The HawkEye ADT is certified by the FAA and has an approved model list supplemental type certificate (AML-STC) for Boeing 737 type series.
The Flightcell DZMx is the world’s only all-in-one satellite tracking and cellular solution for global voice, data, and aircraft tracking. It offers uninterrupted cellular/satellite hybrid tracking, and automatically switches to the best option for continuous tracking, messaging or voice communications. The device is equipped with Iridium PTT (Push-to-Talk), a global one-to-many voice capability that takes the traditional “walkie talkie” concept to a whole new level.
PTA12-300 Airborne Telephone Dialer/AdapterThe PTA12-300 Dialer/Adapter is a compact Dzus mounted telephone interface with a full-function Touchtone keypad, 16 digit LED display, and an integral ‘phone book’ capable of storing 16 numbers.Utilizing the 2 wire POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) interface from the telephone, the PTA12-300 provides complete telecom control and standard DTMF (Dual Tone Multi-Frequency) dialing capabilities. The interface allows the flight crew to access the telephone system through the aircraft’s audio panel maintaining full headset operation.
A handset can also be used in parallel with the PTA12-300 to provide Satcom system access for the cabin. The PTA12-300 can be used with many of today’s airborne telephone systems including Globalstar™, Iridium, Inmarsat, and airborne cellular.

Via the Iridium satellite network, this system transmits real-time location updates, detects in-flight anomalies, and transmits operational event notifications. Bluetooth capabilities in the cockpit allow for satellite voice communication and two-way messaging. Connect to a smartphone or tablet to use the HawkEye Link mobile application and make phone calls—literally—on the fly. Also send and receive emails, pre-configured shortcodes, and custom forms.
